Payment
Policies:
A deposit
of 50% should be made to guarantee reservations on a
trip departing within 60 days. The balance is due 30
days prior to date of tour.
Tour prices are stated per person and based on double
occupancy. Departure taxes, surcharges and government
fees are not part of the tour price.
Travel
in Paradise CR accepts Visa, Master
Card or wire transfers.
Via
a wire transfer using the following information:
Included
in your package: Accommodations, as featured
in the itinerary or similar. Specified meals as indicated
in the itinerary (B for Breadfast, L for Lunch, D for
Dinner). Air/ground transportation within Costa Rica.
Included sightseeing as specified in each itinerary.
Not
included: International airfare, airport taxes,
costs of obtaining passports, tourist cards, excess
baggage fees, sightseeing or meals not specified in
the itinerary, personal equipment, hotel extras (laundry,
phone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages), gratuities
to guides or driver, personal insurance coverage (recommended).
Cancellations and refunds:
If you must cancel your trip, you must do so in writing,
acceptable either by fax or by email. Cancellation refunds
will apply if notice of cancellation is received by
us at least 20 days prior of departure. Travel
in Paradise CR will refund after a reservation
is confirmed according to the following:
45 days
to 31 days prior to departure date 90% refund
30 days
to 21 days prior to departure date 50% refund less hotel
deposits.
There
will be no refund if notice of cancellation is 20 days
or less prior of departure date.
Processing
Fee: There is a non-refundable minimum fee
of $125 per person for each program you cancel. This
low fee reflects only our costs of administering a reservation,
and is not intended to be punitive in any way. We realize
the majority of those who cancel their reservations
do so out of necessity.
Responsibilities
and Liability:
By using
the services of Travel in Paradise CR
you agree that neither Travel in Paradise CR
nor any representative shall be liable for
death, any accident, injury, property damage or personal
loss to a client or those traveling with him or in connection
with any accomodations, transportation or other travel
services, or resulting directly or indirectly from any
occurrences or conditions beyond the control of Travel
in Paradise CR, including but no limited to,
acts of terrorism, war, strikes, theft, delay or cancellation
of or changes in itinerary or schedules. Travel
in Paradise CR is not responsible for loss
of life, personal injury, cancellations, delays, over-bookings,
loss or damage of baggage and/or loss of services as
a result of the same caused by any domestic flights
within Costa Rica.
Medical
services or facilities may not be readily available
or accessible during all or part of the trip. You are
responsible for selecting a trip appropriate to your
liabilities and interests. You are responsible for insuring
that you are in sufficient good health to undertake
the trip, and that you are prepared for the trip by
studying the itinerary and predeparture materials sent
by Travel in Paradise CR.
Travel
in Paradise CR, recommends that all participants
be covered by appropriate life, accident and medical
insurance and that they be financially responsible for
such expenses. We also recommend that all participants
insure their personal property from loss and theft.
Travel in Paradise CR is not responsible
for any costs or losses resulting from such events.
